## 1. what we collect

— Your email address, when you subscribe (the only personal data you give us).
— Subscription preferences (which product lineups you follow).
— Aggregate click counts on alert links (counted per product, not per person).
— Anonymous usage analytics via Google Analytics — only if you choose "accept all" in the cookie dialog.
— Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) kept briefly by our hosting provider for security and debugging.

## 2. what we use it for

Your email is used for exactly two things: the one-time confirmation message and restock alerts you signed up for. Nothing else — no marketing, no newsletters, no profiling. Click counts tell us which alerts were useful; they are not tied to your identity.

## 3. what we never do

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for their own use. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking. We collect nothing beyond what section 1 lists.

## 4. service providers

The Service runs on infrastructure that processes data on our behalf: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database, where subscriber emails are stored), and Resend (email delivery). Google Analytics measures anonymous usage, and loads only after you accept optional cookies. Each provider receives only what it needs to perform its function and is bound by its own privacy terms.

## 5. cookies and local storage

Refurb Radar sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Browser storage is used in two categories:
— strictly necessary: your cookie-consent choice itself (stored whether you accept or reject, so we can honor it).
— optional: your on-page restock-siren setting and Google Analytics cookies (e.g. _ga, anonymous usage measurement) — both exist only if you choose "accept all" in the consent dialog.
Choosing "reject all" limits storage to the strictly necessary category and erases any previously stored optional preference. The consent choice and siren setting never leave your browser; analytics measurements go to Google Analytics in anonymous, aggregate form and never include your email. You can change your choice anytime by clearing this site's data in your browser, which re-opens the dialog.

## 6. retention and deletion

We keep your email for as long as your subscription is active. Unsubscribing via the link in any alert takes effect immediately, and you can request full deletion of your data by emailing alerts@refurb-radar.com — we honor deletion requests within 30 days.

## 7. your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. Since the only personal data we hold is your email and lineup preferences, exercising any of these is one message to alerts@refurb-radar.com.

## 8. children

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

## 9. changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be noted on the site.
